I purchased this release after buying a TRU Ball Assassin and hating it. The release was stiff and even at its longest setting was too short. So I spent the extra cash on the Spot-Hogg and it was worth every penny. The self loading hook makes setting and drawing an arrow super fast and the hair trigger is smooth and flawless. It's also very comfortable and folds back easily without it feeling awkward. I recommend this to any serious bow hunter, much better than my scott release which will be getting retired. Spend the extra cash, you'll be happy you did

The images show the black one to have a nylon strap from teh wrist to the head where the camo one looks to be a rigid set up.

yes the camo version is a ridged set up and also has a Velcro strap. I bought the black one for those very two reasons.
