Some things never change
There is one toy that is sure to have been played with each and every day around our house - this revolver. The kids love it for its descent accuracy (considering it shoots rubber bullets) and has been very durable and realistic gun for them to learn with. Ever since I got it for my son last Christmas, my daughter has consistently asked for her own - - and I am ordering her one this year. It fits easily in many cheap holsters too.

Nah! It's marketed as a "teach your children about firearms weapon", but its a toy that shoots soft rubber bullets. If you took a direct hit to an eyeball it would be a very bad day (and I have used it to teach safety), but even getting shot at 5 ft or so on uncovered skin doesn't more than barely sting even the kiddies.
