Really good entry level training collar for the money. Used it for an older Lab retriever that was already trained to a collar for some remedial work...did the job well.

i bought this for a 3yr old springer i got that liked to jump on people, and run off, the range on mine is more like 50yds, but i dont care much as im trying to train him for bird hunting so i want him closer to me, over all a good product for around the house, i use a diffrent one when hunting just incease he gets out of range with this one

The collar works great. It only took a few times putting the collar to use and the dogs stop the barking. The only trouble I had was that the strap was a little too long for my beagles neck. I had to put a hole between the two allready there so I could adjust the strap properly. Other than it works fine.

We adopted a 2 year old high energy Weimeraner, who didn't seem to have much training. We couldn't let her out with our German Shorthair, as she would run at him and bite/attack him. After a few days of using the yard trainer, she got the hint, and now we can let them out together to run and play. It also is working for her to 'come here' on our command. Excellent product, and I like the flexibility of different levels, and just the tone.

Or can you choose to just make it beep? I had a collar for my dog similar to one of these before and it had the option to shock or make a beeping sound when the button on the remote was presssed. It also had like 10 levels of stimulation.Answers

Will this work for a very stubborn Jack Russell terrier, who occasionally picks fights with our other two jack russells?
