bass pro should take this off there shelves. first time out with it. 18lbs test, broke twice while casting. doesn't sink, and frayed in a matter of 20 casts. absolutely the worst fishing line ever. complete waste of money.

Spiderwire ultracast series are all awful. I've tried them all and most do snap quite easily no matter what lb test. I've had a 1lb snap 20lb test line. Waste ot time and money. DON'T TRY THIS PRODUCT OUT. Lost 1 bull shad lure with this product.

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING THIS LINE! maybe some other line 5$ more but at least over time it will save your money! i bought the 18 lb line and i swear it broke on a sunfish that wasn't even one fifth a pound.

I bought this line before I read the reviews. Mistake. After reading the terrible reviews about this line (10/2) I was hoping that Spyderwire had corrected all the issues.
Wrong. I primarily bought this line because of its claim of sinkability. I use it to fish for crappies with a float in weedy areas. The line floats as good as the bobber. Also, as with others, the first time out with the new line I had two snap offs and one knot break.
This stuff is nothing more than expensive garbage. Back to Power Pro for me.
