- Fluorescent brighteners illuminate line above water
- Low-vis green disappears below water
- Allows you to watch your line and detect bites that may not be felt
Spiderwire's Stealth Glow-Vis Braid combines the color of low-vis green with a unique UV reflective coating that appears to glow in the sunlight for better visibility. Stealth Glow-Vis Braid offers you the ability to watch your line movements and detect bites that may not be felt. Since UV cannot penetrate water, the low-vis color will continue to be less visible to "line shy" fish and disappear in low light conditions. Made in USA.

This line has a texture like old rope and causes excess friction going through the guides with light tackle. This creates tidy little knots from backing up on itself that will reduce your spool by 20 yards at the end of the day. If you throw heavy baits this may not cause an issue or if you use a baitcaster you might get better results as well. Throwing 1/8 to 1/4 ounce baits from a spinning reel has only caused frustration for me. Spiderwire has better offerings as do the other companies. I will douse my spool with KVD and give it another go but if it knots up on the casts again it is getting stripped off and a tighter braid is going to take its place. Mine turned white after a single day also. It is noisy coming in through the guides also if this matters to anyone. It does not to me but if I could read braille I bet this line would have a story to tell.. Lesson learned? Buy a line with a tighter weave and some PTFE on it. BTW I used 20 lb. test with an equivalent diameter of 6 lb. mono.

I wouldn't have expected any less from Spiderwire. Smooth casting with very little memory. Very abrasion resistant and tough under pressure. I use 40 lb on both my Penn Fierce 5000 with a 5.6:1 gear ratio, Pursuit 5000 with a 4.6:1 gear ratio, on my Okumo ABF-50 I use 40 lb, on my ABF-65 I use 80 lb, both with a 4.5:1 gear ratio and my BPS Tourney Special Baitcaster with a 7.0:1 gear ratio, I use 10 lb (smooth reel). It is very easy to see during the day and at night if you use a flashlight or spot light it has the same affect as if it were daytime.

I am an avid Spiderwire user and this is probably the best line I have ever used. It is fast acting and disappears underwater just like it states. You can see it within the first couple of feet of the surface if you are wearing polarized glasses, and that depends of the water quality but, then it vanishes beyond that. It feeds off extremely fast and smooth and as always the strength of the line cannot be beaten.

Rated 5 out of 5 by teddy123 Great visibility
I bought this product because of the advertised visibility but was skeptical when I first saw the line. However, when I got a chance to use it, the line worked great. When this line is in the sun it reflects the light just enough to help see it, similar to the way clear mono shines in the sun. I don't have enough experience to speak about the longevity of the line or if it fades, but if you have trouble seeing braid this will help.
