I use 10# test and find it to be a strong line, use care tying knots as it does tend to score easy, take your time spooling it and it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chanman Great line!
Its discouraging to read the bad reviews from this product because its a great product if used properly. The main problems people had about the line are not true in my opinion. Its easy to use. Casts a mile and is accurate. Never had a problem with line memory or break offs. Highly recommended, great line for the money.

This stuff is garbage! I put a fresh spool on and as i was winding it on I noticed that the line was twisted on the spool it came on! Every few feet as it came off it'd curl back on itself and bunch up. I checked multiple times that I was putting it on the way it came off, but the line had been looped on itself as it was put on the spool!
I never got to try out if this stuff works well on the water or not because I ripped it off after putting it on properly only to have kinks and twists on the line from the factory. I'll be sticking with stren from now on. Buyer be ware!

Rated 1 out of 5 its JUNK!!!!
I just created a basspro account to tell everyone how horrible this line is. I lost several fish on this junk. I will never buy this line or any other spiderwire product for that matter. When i got back off the lake i tied a 2.5 pound weight on the end of this line and the other end to a basketball hoop. It could barely hold the 2.5 pounds. When i let the weight drop about 10 inches (what would be your hook set) snap.... every time. If your into competition fishing i would highly recommend this stuff to the guys your fishing against. Hope this helps. Dont let this stuff ruin your fishing trip!!!!! Im kinda upset this review makes me give it one star.. it doesn't even deserve that!!!!
