Recently had my spare tire stolen for a boat landing.
Tho anything can be stolen if someone wants bad enough, the cost of the lock is cheap unlike a spare tire and rim.

This will not work with most lug nuts. You will have to buy a lower profile lug nut so that the cover will fit over it.

Second one I bought. First one lasted about 6 years and eventually just wouldn't open. Pried it off with lug wrench.
On both of them I had to drill out the hole to accomodate a full-sized spare tire.
For the price, it should deter a potential thief long enough for them to possibly move on to another unprotected tire.
