Very good product that I hope to never have to use. This was very easy to install and gives peace of mind when traveling in remote areas. You are covered if you get a flat,loose lug nuts, hub damage or wheel bearing problem.

Good- Works very well.
Bad- bolts are to long for my Tracker trailer, had to make spacers.

Very satisfied with spare tire and hid holder. The trailer looks great with the spare attached. I like the fact that it rolls on impact with moving terrain. The mount angle keeps it out of the water during launch/recovery. Using the space tire as step is hazardous, so be careful of the mounting location. The u-bolts that came with it were too big for my Tracker/Trailstar rig. I got over that once I finally got it set up.

I bought this item to replace one on my boat trailer. The previous sat too low to the ground and would tear up the spare tire at RR crossing and dips in the road. The angle on the new Tire Carrier lifts the spare considerably and, with bearing system in place, when it does hit, it acts as another wheel on the trailer. Great purchase.
