Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by spare hub/tire Very good product that I hope to never have to use. This was very easy to install and gives peace of mind when traveling in remote areas. You are covered if you get a flat, loose lug nuts, hub damage or wheel bearing problem. July 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Good- Works very well. Bad- bolts are to long for my Tracker trailer, had to make spacers. June 22, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good solution to an old problem. Very satisfied with spare tire and hid holder. The trailer looks great with the spare attached. I like the fact that it rolls on impact with moving terrain. The mount angle keeps it out of the water during launch/recovery. Using the space tire as step is hazardous, so be careful of the mounting location. The u-bolts that came with it were too big for my Tracker/Trailstar rig. I got over that once I finally got it set up. September 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Replacement I bought this item to replace one on my boat trailer. The previous sat too low to the ground and would tear up the spare tire at RR crossing and dips in the road. The angle on the new Tire Carrier lifts the spare considerably and, with bearing system in place, when it does hit, it acts as another wheel on the trailer. Great purchase. March 25, 2010

Will this support the trailer tongue weight (<150lbs) to be used as a launching wheel? Ie. will the hub rotate freely with tire mounted and allow me to beach launch the trailer without being hitched to a tow vehicle.

Thanks.

Outside hub bearing measures 1+1/16 ID and inside bearing measures 1+3/8 ID. Hub is approximately 4" deep. My bearings are both 1+1/16 and my hub is approximately 3" deep. Didn't fit my loadrite trailer. It is now an expensive spare tire mount because it was over a year until I had a problem and realized that it didn't fit.
