Purchased two pairs of these cleats. First time used on ice they wouldn't stay on boots. Second time shared my extra pair with my brother while ice fishing. We couldn't keep cleats on. After walking on ice the spikes broke off the bottoms. The rubber was too hard at 24f and at 34f when stretched it broke. By 10am we had one cleat unit per foot still working. Consequently we fell on ice several times going to tip-ups. Don't buy these they are junk and you could be hurt when on the ice.

First day out the rubber at the heel broke .. very disappointing. Perhaps should have been larger size but the BP salesman said it was right for the boot (and I had the boot right there).

This works well on the ice. They are easy to put on, and take off. I would not take long walks off the ice in them because the chains on the bottom get messed up.

these cleats grip pretty good, i stayed on the ice and snow and off the concrete, the snow chain bottom helps alot from packin snow in the in the heel like some other strap on cleats do

I wear size 16 mickey mouse boots (they are huge) my answer to your question is maybe.) What I have done is gotten the size 16 and in a warm area stretched the heck out of the rubber to get it over the heel and front of my boot and i JUST EAVE IT ON! when the rubber gets cold it's not as easy to get on and almost not possible.Details:Â

I bought the XL cleats and put them on my size 10 insulated snow boots and they were a little tough to put on. Then I put them on my street shoes,they fit them also. I would recommend the XL for size 10 on up.
