I've just finished with my second pair of these speakers. Sounds great but they just dont hold up, as the other reviewers said the cones just dont seem to hold up to the elements.. looking now what I can replace them with that will be in the same general price range.. Perhaps they do better in fresh water!

I enjoy fishing and playing on my boat and love to listen to music while on the water. These speakers sound excellent on the boat, very crisp and powerful sound. Would highly recommend these speakers

I bought these in late Septemer and the cone already fell out of one of the speakers. I mounted them on the side of a center console bay boat. Probaby only used the boat 6 or 8 times this winter, no rough water, no spray.

These came as a package with my Sony head unit, which I still consider a decent deal overall. Unfortunately, the speakers bombed after two seasons. They are on a boat that is used on average twice a month and is babied and covered. The cones cannot hold up to the elements, and the speakers seemed to have a hard time handling the output of the stereo in general.
