I bought this wheel for it's modern look and rubbery grip. Installation was basic nut N bolt style to my Teleflex cable steering. Unlike the previous reviewer I did not have to "re-key" the wheel. At worst I had to re-mesh the rack and pinion teeth so center on the wheel was center to the outboard. If you can handle a socket wrench, then it's an easy job all around. And I also liked how the center cover is recessed if you want to add your own emblem to it.

The steeringwheel is great the only problem with it is that the key way wasent in the rigth place for my
wheel when the motor was straight i had to get a key way cut at twelve oclock on the wheel.

Pop off the cap and take off the nut and washer then tap the wheel with a rubber malet to loosen it.1 of 1
