I was very dissatisfied with the quality of this tree stand. I feel the product was constructed with poor craftsmanship and inferior materials. The seat makes too much noise when you move around in it. Silence is paramount when hunting and this stand fails miserably.

Got it home and immediately started putting together. The little plastic washers are a joke! I went and bought a box of galvanized washers. One of the armrests was tweaked slightly so when installed with the gun rest it would drag against the armrest when moving up and over your head. If you wrap the armrests with pipe foam like everyone else, the gun rest will hit it. I bow hunt out of this stand so, I simply removed the rest and got some bolts and nuts to replace the delta bolts. I am calling the manufacturer to see if they will replace the armrest. All other parts were in the box. I have not put in a tree yet but will this weekend. So far I am impressed with the large platform and the suspension seat seems comfortable. It might a little noisy but your not supposed to move much sitting in it :)

I bought this stand for the value alone. very sturdy however the seat buckle will not stay tight and keeps sliding lower causing your back to be against the bars. good for a short hunt...but if you plan on staying all day...this is not the one. spend the extra $20 and get a better seat system...fabric very noisy as well...very plastic sounding.. hope this helps.
btw..i am 6'6" tall and weight 250 and it does well with my height and weight.

One or 2 straps? Cam buckles?Answers

i use a ratchit strapA:Â
chain. You buy extra chains for 25 bucks each and just use one stand for all your set-ups. best value in a lock-on. I have six set-ups so I just carry in the stand at (14 Lbs) and its up the tree and drop in the stand and I am hunting. easyest I have ever hung and used.A:Â
One strap. No cam buckle.I usually replace the straps with chain and a turn buckle. This keeps the rodents from chewing through your straps. Add a pad lock and it keeps larger rodents from taking your stand. Good Luck.
