Rated 1 out of 5 by EStrong I really wanted to like these.
I bought a few of these and also bought some of the shallow divers (see my review). I had the same issue with these that I did with the shallow divers. The spoons/bills were loose and I was unable to adjust them and keep them snug. The lures tracked way off to the left and/or right on retrieve. I've been fishing for a long time, I know how to adjust the bill/spoon on the front of lipped cranks/stickbaits to make it track right or to make it do "funny" stuff on purpose. I REALLY liked the colors and variety. Too bad for me. Perhaps the newer lures have some defects or maybe I just ran into a whole bunch of lemons. Reading all the other reviews seems nobody is having any major issues. Just know if you try these and they don't work, BPS will refund your money. I had no issues at the C.S. Counter and never do. BPS Cincy has a great staff, I am always treated well there.

this is a trusted lure in the spring, I use the 5 1/2" version (which is discontinued) for slime gator's infront of spawning bay's adjacent to deep water go very slow and also buy yourself some dressed hook's, I find that in the spring time the gator's apatite may not be kicked into full swing but the tiny little dressed tail hook seal's the deal, they are drawn in on the large profile of the bait but may not want such a large offering but the little dressed hook is almost like a tiny snack that they hit that instead, this is a very good bait when the water is cold & fish are lethargic buy some up and you won't be disappointed i use the clown color! tight lines every 1

Can't weight to use them . Did find that they needed a little weight to two make them suspend . I think the line will have some to do with that . Some guys change the front hook out to the next size bigger and some times add one more split ring to the front split ring . Going to try a small swivel .

1st time used was last late spring on Toledo. One of the few lures I could get em to hit.
Went back mid Oct & again the majority I caught was by pulling it down & twitching the suspending Rogue.
My color preferance is anything light but not too flashy.
