Simple, safe, and dependable, the Jiffy-Pro Handheld Sharpener from Smith's provides a sharp edge on any type of straight edge knife in the field, back at camp, or in your home. This easy-to-use sharpener utilizes knife sharpening slots with crossed carbide blades to set the edge on an extremely dull or damaged blade. The Jiffy-Pro also features crossed ceramic rods to hone the final edge to razor sharpness.  These two abrasive components are fixed at a preset sharpening angle that guarantees results every time. The scissors sharpening slot in the handle of the Jiffy-Pro uses a ''floating'' carbide rod to adjust to different blade bevels and accommodate Game Shears as well. The soft grip rubber handle provides a firm, comfortable grip in all conditions.

They knives I have are brand new and were butter knife dull right from the manufacturer and used 12 swipes. Run it across the ceramic rods 20 times and now I can literally shave with it! I love this sharpener, way to go Smith's and BPS, excellent product and very high recommended. February 23, 2013
