Smith's 3 in 1 Knife and Tool Sharpener
I went down to the local BPS store to purchase a new knife sharpener. I had looked at them online, but wanted to see and feel them in person before making the purchase.
First, I decided not to get any electrical sharpeners and focused in on all of the manual ones. After looking at all of the manual ones, I chose this one because of it's versatility (having three different types of sharpening methods).
After getting it home, I took out all of my pocket knives and began sharpening each one slowly. I must say that I am impressed at how well my knives turned out. I'm glad I went with this one.

Smiths 3 in 1
This is a great system that will put a razor sharp edge on any blade. For dull blades the carbides quickly strip the metal to pre-set angle. The fine dimond stone gets the blades to a sharp edge, but to put a razor sharp edge the ceramic rods are the best. It is a quick way to put a dull knife back to razor sharp, and it also sharpens serrated edges and hooks. What more can you ask for, so I highly recommend it.

After reviewing several sharpeners in this products price range, I settled on this one. I'm glad with the decision because the product is good quality and offers multiple sharpening tools that can be used very quickly to sharpen your knife to a razors edge. I love the portability the sharpener offers with the ceramic rod storage underneath.

helpful when away from a power source
I use this when I don't have a power source for my electric sharpener. I can put on a good edge if the knife I'm using becomes dull or more often the people I'm with need to have their knives sharpened.
