Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Purchase Ever! This is one of my favorite bb guns out of my collection, tons of power when paired with zinc bb's. Will clear the Meramec river no problem! Great seals on this gun, i have left a poped co2 cartridge in it for over a month and it still shot like new, no co2 escaped. I love this gun, i may buy another some day... March 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Good accuracy and consistent I'm pleased with my purchase March 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by never worked I opened it , loaded the BB's ,installed the CO2 and the CO2 blew right out the barrel. I thought maybe I did something wrong and ruined 3 CO2's each did the same thing . It's on it's way back on my dime. So the squirrels are still invading my bird feeders. January 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is good . This is very good. You shoots great . It will take some getting used to but over all it shoots well. Ok , this is one mistake I did, I put a BB in the magazine But forgot to slide the spring back before loading.. Anyway, the BB I put in the BB got jammed around the spring and in the end I missed up the spring and the magazine .. I did get it so I could use it but with less rounds in the clip / magazine.. Again that was my fault, not the gun's.. And there are couple places to get new Magazines for this gun. I will have my new magazines on order. Basspro can help you get more magazines for this gun.. Laws vary from state to state, but in most states this would not be legally considered a real gun. I still wouldn't go carrying it around town though. Someone could easily mistake it for a real S&W M&P. I own a real one and this one and it is similar enough to fool someone.

Not in Virginia. Not a firearm but a air powered BB gun. It is powerful enough to hurt someone so I would check with local authorities. Each state/county may have different rules.

I did not come with a spare. Carrying the spare may be difficult. The BB's will fall out if you carry it in your pocket. Just loading it is difficult w/ BB's all over. Also A single shot will be of even pressure and no clip.

I could get 100+ shots. The power decreases a % per shot. The first 20 shot will kill grouse. The last 40 are a waste of BB's. Get a pump up and never pay again. Get a pump up and maintain your pressure.

well , I got it to target shoot it's only 480 feet pre-second that it 2.5 muzzle energy. so not a big powerful gun. I'd say you can shoot a mouse in the house or barn But not a many feet away .. say maybe 4 yards away...

No! with a copperhead BB at 5.1 grams at a velocity of 480 FPS would only give 2.61 foot pounds Energy. For a rabbit clean kill a Energy foot pounds need to be about 11 foot pounds with a .177 pellet. BBs is not a good chouse for rabbit or Squirrel hunting.

A:
No! The term is called blowback an action that simulates the real thing for an air pistol The downside of blowbacks is that it uses up CO2 giving less shots. The Smith & Wesson M&P .177 BB Pistol can shoot to about 240-250 per one 12g CO2 cylinder.
