These are what shades should be... Simple, rugged, stylish, and versatile. I have a medium sized egg shaped head with a short chin and wide jaw. These fit great and have zero cheek interference (something I can't stand) the frames do not wrap real tight around the head but still have a somewhat semi wrap. There is plenty of coverage but its not great coverage. I can see the rims of the glasses, but it does not bother me. The clarity is phenomenal, just as good as the Maui Jim's. I hike, fish, and drive in these but that's as much as I would do in them. If you're a kayaker or rock climber you would probably be okay wearing them but in my opinion they are not designed for real aggressive activities outside such as mountain biking. I currently own the Methods (legendary), Prospects, and now the Riversides. I would say these are probably my favorite and most frequently used pair. They look good in everything, can pretty much be worn during anything, and the clarity is phenomenal

These are my favorite sunglasses. The polarized green mirror lenses are great in full sun on snow to heavy clouds. I ski with these and maintain great definition even at cruzer speeds. And they look great to boot.

I have several pairs of sunglasses, including a pair of riversides from a few years ago with polarized, brown photochromic lenses, and these are my go to pair for vacations, fishing, and driving. I joke with people that they let me see everything, and on days when the ground blizzards or fog are getting in the way of safe vision distances, the photochromic lenses lighten enough to keep my eyes sharp, but add enough contrast, particularly to reds, to make me feel a lot safer. They are great for fishing as well, but wear a croakie, they have a nasty habit of flying off my face when I turn my head too fast.
