I SHOT ABOUT 400 ROUNDS AND HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE,it kept jamming.I called Smith & Wesson and they said ship it back.It took about 3 to 4 weeks to get my MP22 back and they said they had to change the barrel.I have not been to the range yet with the new barrel but hopefully no problems,i'll keep you posted.

Bought a Ruger 10 22 takedown as a first time buyer and user of a gun and bought the Smith & Wesson 22 pistol on the next day. Today, I took them both to the gun range. Shot about 500 rounds of Remington 22 from a 525 rounds economy pack. Not even one jam ever. I am very new to guns and do not figured out to shoot today and would have been difficult if that had jammed. But, not even one ammo got jammed in these guns. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this pistol back in Feb,2014 and can honestly say Im not real happy with it. First 100 rounds had several FTL & FTE. Figured ok it just needs a bit of break in time on it. Since then almost every mag has been the same way and didnt make any difference what velocity of ammo I shot. One FTE had to be forced out with a tool. Maybe a faulty round. Took it to the range again last thrusday and the same thing keeps happening, and thats with at least 7-800 rounds thru it. I did give it 2 stars cause Im not quite ready to give up on it yet. Longer break in period?? Very easy to field strip but would be nice if the barrel would detache from frame. Not sure but I think from here on out I'll stick with 9mm and forget about the .22's
