I bought this knife a few months ago to carry with me when I',m out in the bush on my ATV. I wore it on my belt a few times but it always seems to get in the way, and it's pretty heavy. I keep it in the storage box now and only get it out when I need it.
The blade was sharp out of the box, and it's a sturdy knife with a good finish. It should stand up to years of chopping wood and general purpose use.
The sheath is cheap, and already falling apart in places. I tossed the "sharpening stone" as it was pretty junky.....more like a metal cheese grater. I have a proper sharpening stone when needed. I used the sharpener's storage pocket on the sheath to carry my fire steel, which fits pretty good and is nice to have when I need it.
Overall the knife itself is good quality and fairly comfortable to hold and use. I personally find it too heavy and bulky to carry on my belt, as it's always getting in the way, The sheath is falling apart and the sharpener is dollar store quality. Therefore I give it a 3 out of 5.
