Smith & Wesson® 642 Airweight® Revolver - Internal Hammer
I bought this pistol for my daughter. She wanted a concealed carry pistol and the salesman from Bass Pro recommended this one. He was right. This firearm is very safe, very easy to operated and has plenty of power. The hammerless design doesn't hang on anything in her purse or her clothing. This one is definitely a winner for the ladies as well as men who want a smaller secondary firearm close and convenient.

Loads of Fun
This is the third revolver I have purchased, picked it up one week ago. I put 50 rounds through it and it has already become my favorite handgun. Accuracy always comes down to the shooter (unless there is some sort of machining error, etc) and I was "combat effective" at 20 yards with this .38. In other words, I can put the bullets on which ever body part I want : ) In terms of "kick", this has less than my Ruger GP100 with .357 rounds ( 4inch ). I figured it was light and small so the .38 would feel like the .357, not quite. Trigger pull not bad at all and I have medium/large hands. I feel comfortable having my wife try it (and she is little). Excellent purchase, I love it.

Excellent go everywhere pocket gun with acceptable accuracy. Lightweight and snag proof.
Two complaints, first is the built in lock which IMHO is unnecessary on a CCW gun. second is the finish flakes off easily which in no way affects performance.
Otherwise I would rate 5 stars

good ccw gun
I bought this as an alternate ccw weapon. It is very light weight and compact, so easy to carry. I've found the revolver to be a little more bulky than an auto pistol, but still pretty good. I'm not a great marksman and have found this lightweight gun to be a little less accurate than my auto, 6 or 7 of 10 shots in 6 inches at 25 feet compared to 7 or 8 of 10 in 3 inches with the auto. But it is very accurate within 10 feet, so great carry gun. It is also easy to clean.
