Slide Anchor's state-of-the-art Box Anchors are compact, hassle-free anchoring systems that boaters and anglers alike can count on to hold firmly in any water depth, bottom conditions, swift currents or severe weather. With no heavy chain to bog down small boats and no powering down required, simply toss the Box Anchor in the water and seconds later the anchor's fixed scoop design and narrow panels set like a cookie cutter into sand, mud, grass or rock. Should the wind or current change, the Box Anchor rolls over and almost instantly resets itself. Retrieving the Box Anchor is also easy. The Box Anchor's narrow side panels are designed to eliminate upward resistance and a lead arm rolls backward to pop the anchor off the bottom. Equipped with a stainless steel stabilizing bar and return spring for quick locking open for use or collapsing the anchor for storage. Hot-dip galvanized with stainless steel hinge pins, stabilizing bar, return spring and nut for years of corrosion-resistant anchoring - even in saltwater. Storage bag included.

  • The 20 lb. Small Box Anchor is designed to hold 18'-30' sport boats or cabin cruisers up to 32'
  • The 25 lb. Large Box Anchor is for sport boats up to 40' and cabin cruisers up to 32'

Size dimensions apply to product in its collapsed state.

Answer To My Prayers? We've had the opportunity to use the anchor one time so far this season (hopefully not too soon to for a review - we've heard stories about tossing anchors never to be seen again!). It worked on the first drop! We have a small houseboat with a hull design not recommended for pulling on shore. Our previous anchor created quite a challenge to keep the boat from drifting then to retrieve if anchored well. We had no problem with these issues with the Slide Anchor Box Anchor. Looking forward to many overnights on the open water! May 29, 2012
Best Anchor You Can Buy I have a 20' pontoon boat. I've owned one of these anchors for over 3 years now (just lost my Slide anchor 2 days ago) . I'm getting ready to place an order for another one through Bass Pro Shops. I mostly fish Lake Mead, which is rated as one the hardest lakes to stay anchored in. If you own a pontoon boat, you know they're one of the hardest boats to anchor in any kind of wind. I've tried every other type of anchor(s), many times setting two off the bow cleats in an attempt to stay anchored up in one place. When I bought my first Slide Anchor, it was the one, and only anchor I needed to stay anchored up regardless of bottom conditions. They can be a bit of a booger though to pull up off a muddy bottom, as they settle in like a cookie cutter! Buy the recommended size for your boat and you'll never have to worry about breaking anchor anymore. March 12, 2011
