I killed the biggest buck of my life with this broadhead but will never shoot it again. I made a dead center chest, double lune shot. It did not penetrate the far side. It only wen thru the lungs and stopped inside the ribs on far side. Three of four baldes were broken off. The large 1.25" dia is just too much to get good penetration with a 4 balde broadhead. I like the sharpness of the blades and think the smaller dia heads would work better but have not tried them.

used these broadheads on 3 does done fine.. shot 2 bucks no penetration one bounced out of deer in top of shoulder on downward angle should have passed through have shot this shot on many bucks before and have had no problems before with other broadheads.. the other buck i shot arrow arrow hit behind shoulder and when deer left arrow was hanging just by blades and skin arrow only pentrated about 1" .. I guess it takes something more to put big bucks down. And I have killed my share of big bucks!! Recomend a cut on contact broadhead and never a expandable!!!!

Shot a mature doe second day of season at 11yrds....arrow entered jus to the right of her spine and hit her right lung and heart before exiting her lower neck and burying 6in in the ground. Amazing entrance and exit holes....she ran 40 yrs and fell...AMAZING bloodtrail i think a blind man could've followed it. The blades did have a few nicks in them but im sure that was from hitting rocks in the ground. From a guy whos shot almost every expandable and fixed blade broadhead out there these are the best i've shot. The only downside is that they dont fly exactly like field tips....they hit about 2in right at 40yrd but thats not bad for a 4 blade fixed blade broadhead that leaves a 2 1/2" hole!

Is this the 1st generation Grizz Trick or the Grizz Trick 2?Answers
A:Â
These are the Grizztrick 2. dont think they make the original grizztrick anymore. The G2 has a longer tip for a more stright wound channel and will get better penatration on angle shots.A:Â
