great value the collars are awesome to keep in the tackle box specially if you fish a lot of jigs or buzzbaits, very durable and holds the skirt in firmly. won't slip off. April 28, 2011
Don't Waste Your Time These skirt collars are neither large enough, or strong enough to handle any type of skirting material. April 26, 2011

Are these hard collars that can be used to secure a trailer hook on the primary hook or are these just rubber bands that would be easily broken or stretched so the trailer hook would come off?

I was actually wondering the same thing myself. It is a little stiffer than a rubber band and looks like it should hold to a hook but I think it may be a little loose on the jig or spinnerbait hook.
