You have to see and feel the Pantanal Gloves to appreciate the quality and functionality of these things! First thing I liked was the leather on the palm and how it includes a patch of leather over the side of the index finger - and heel of the hand - for wear resistance. This is especially well thought of for hunting; as these areas take alot of abuse from lines, guns, gunwales, etc. I have only ever found one or two pairs of gloves that fit right but these are now on that list. They fit well enough that I can use my fingers, but the have enough insulation to keep my hands warm.
