Excellent product. I have a Benelli Ultralight 12ga that is downright abusive. This tames it right down so that after 4 rounds of trap, I'm feeling fine. The sizing chart on the packaging is great. Sizing on the web page is useless. I got the wrong size as a result. Kept it anyway. Not any fun constantly readjusting. Wish you could just scan the chart from the package Bass Pro.

Bought this for my Ruger M77 30.06 that was made in 1985, and has a factory, hockey puck-like hard rubber pad on it. Was a little nervous about the sizing but took my rifle in to Bass Pro and tried a few out. I slipped it over the existing pad and the Medium fits quite well. It adds almost an inch to the rear of the gun, but scopes can be adjusted, so no problem there. Previously at the range i would feel it in my shoulder around 5 or 6 shots and usually wrap it up after that. After slipping this pad on, I shot a box and a half of ammo and still had no pain, no discomfort whatsoever. My muzzle jump was only an inch or two at the very most as well, so that was noticeably reduced as well as recoil. Feels more like a 20-guage shotgun now. Highly recommend this, and will have one on all future heavy rifles going forward. Makes the possibility of looking into larger calibers, and shooting all my rifles more regularly, more realistic!

This product does just what is advertised. It takes out so much recoil that shooting your high caliber deer rifle is like shooting your kids Red Ryder. I have one on my 7Mag and on a lightweight 12 gauge. The flinch some people get will be gone after one session on the shooting range. I highly recommend this product.

This pad works good, just make sure you buy the correct size. I bought the correct one to go on my Crow buster(shotgun)and after several crows taken out of the air, it felt more like shooting my 22......buy it you will like it!

Not sure what caliber you are shooting, but a recommendation. If you are trying to make a gun tolerable for a younger shooter, try some of the reduced recoil loads out there. Remington makes these available in several different calibers. They make some of the larger calibers very tolerable. I have tried them in 308 and 30-06. There is a difference in the shoulder smack.
