Sims LimbSaver Sharpshooter X-Ring Barrel De-Resonator
the x-ring, as it is now called, is a great product. it will not make a load that your gun really likes that much better, but what i does do is take a load that your gun doesn't like and make it extremely accurate!
to the right are the results the x-ring had on my 17 hmr at 50yds. the before and after is dramatic. i can now interchangeably shoot two different rounds without fear of them not shooting the same!

This is my third one. I have one on every rifle that will accept one, a Remington .270, a Ruger M77 .270, and a Winchester Model 70 300 wsm. . Every rifle showed improvement in smaller groups and being able to repeat these over and over.

1.5" to .24"
I got one of these for a birthday gift last month for my heavy varmint (deer/pronghorn) rig a Rem 700 VSF in 22-250. The rifle as is very accurate so I wasn’t expecting this chunk of rubber to help that much. So I tested it yesterday.
I started out with a clean barrel shooting Winchester Supreme 50 gr Ballistic Silvertips. I shot a three shot group at 100 yards with out the De-Resonator. The group was 1.5 inches. I cleaned the barrel and let it cool then installed the De-Resonator 3/4" away from the end of the stock. The next three shot group was improved. Again I let the barrel cool and cleaned the barrel. This time I moved the De-resonator a smidge closer to the muzzle. This group was tighter yet! After once more cleaning and cooling the barrel I moved it up a little more. ALL THREE HOLES WERE TOUCHING!!! The groups went from 1.5" to .24"
