I received these gloves for Christmas and recently had a chance to try them out in about 35 degree weather. The gloves were very nice, light and they kept my hands warm. They definitely helped cut through the cold breeze. My finger tips were frozen, but it was nice to have the ability to use my finger tips for tying knots, checking hooks, lures, etc.
The only negative things I saw with the gloves were the fact that sharp hooks can easily get caught on the inside portion of the glove. I had a couple hooks pull on a few threads. Also, the gloves are not waterproofs, so if they get wet your hands are going to be cold. However, I did notice that they dry fairly quickly.
With some of the prices for gloves on the market these days, I'd have to say that this is not a bad price for a Simms product. At least I have the piece of mind that Simms backs their products 100%!

Warm, quick drying gloves that still allow for precision bait and tackle handling.

I own a lot of Simms gear and these gloves live up to the name.
Warm, comfortable to wear while using spinning gear and relatively light. I wore them on a recent weekend outing where it was 9 degrees with significant wind and I was comfortable. They really shield against the wind.
Price is a bit high but a vast improvement over my old wool ones.
These will primarily be using for river fishing but I am happy with the purchase.

Used them twice so far this yr. One freezing cold day needed to use them as liners w/ my wool gloves which worked well except can never seem to get those finger tips warmed up, then on a 50* day w/ wtr temps 30's. Kept hands very warm
