Rated 5 out of 5Â by Aggiemudman Great wading boots
I will start off by saying that this is the first pair of wading boots I have ever owned. That being said, they are great boots! I am really impressed with how comfortable they are while hiking to and from each fishing hole. The bottoms are super grippy even in fast water. The BOA cable system is great and appears to be very durable. I imagine having these boots for a really long time.

I ordered the Simms Rivertek Boa to replace some entry level wading boots that I had used the past two years. They are AWESOME ! The BOA lace system lets you get into and out of these boots quickly, yet tightens the boot for a solid support. Im a size 13 shoe and ordered the boots in size 13 and they fit perfectly. They are very typical of the Simms quality they put into their products.

Haven't used them yet..I'm writing because the boot does two things that makes them very worthwhile. First, they open up very wide with a pull of the BOA dial. Second, doing them up is a breeze and they close up very uniformly, pressure wise, across the arch. It's just so easy to stocking foot waders into these...without the usual hassles of bound up toes or pressure points from folds in the stocking. They do run a bit large I'd say...get your dress shoe size and expect to wear a thick sock(my experience anyway).
Happy Wading!

Best wading boot I have ever owned. Easy on and off. Non slip and confortable. The other people I was fishing with have already ordered theirs.

My work boot is a 9 but I would be wearing a set of G3 stockingfoot waders with a warm sock in these boots any ideas of the size I should buy? 9 or ? to fit properlyAnswers

I purched a pair of the simms freestone wading boots last year I wear a size 14 got a size 15 did not fit go at least 2 sizes larger if to big a extra pair of wool socks will do the trickA:Â
The Simms wading boots are sized to wear over your stocking foot waders and socks. Unless you are wearing extremely heavy socks sticking with your normal shoe size should work.1 of 1
