A great balance of wading performance and value with a stream-conscious design, Freestone® Wading Boots from Simms® lets fly fishermen work their favorite stream with confidence. A CleanStream™ design, the Freestone features durable synthetic, full-grain leather uppers with protective scratch rubber toes and heels to give anglers all-around, abrasion-resistant durability. Neoprene-lined collars boost the Freestone's all-around comfort in and out of the stream, as does the StreamTread™ platform the Freestone is built upon. This specialized foundation combines a die-cut, full coverage TPU retention plate for rigidity and cleat retention with cushioning EVA midsoles for all day wading comfort. Molded TPU heel clips on top of the midsoles hold your heel in place and provide lateral stability for wading security, while the die-cut footbeds on top provide soft, cushioning comfort. Anchoring this high performance wading boot, molded Vibram® Idrogrip® rubber outsoles feature 3 mm multi-directional lugs for great slip resistance on slick streambeds. Average weight per pair: 65.6 oz. Imported.

Simms is working to keep our waterways, and the fish that live in them, healthy for now and in the future. Many Simms products now feature CleanStream technology design. This new design philosophy uses materials and production techniques that make it more difficult for dangerous micro-organisms to attach to wading gear and makes the gear easier to properly clean. Simms is also working with other fishing industry companies and conservation organizations to develop a certification process to highlight gear designed to help prevent the spread of aquatic nuisance species (ANS) and disease and keep the world's waterways safe and healthy.
