Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sight I bought this and mounted it on my Ruger Mini 14. Sight picture is great. Sight pattern and brightness are adjustable for conditions. I had good acuracy out to 100yds. This made my favorite plinker even more fun to shoot. April 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bang for the buck!!! I got tired of dumping my money into the big brands (I' own them all) and figured I give this sight a try. All I can say is wow...as long as you make sure the switch is fully seated on the reticle selector, this sight had no problems holding zero on any setting. I've put over 2000 rounds through my M4 and this sight has not deviated at any setting or distance. The quality of this sight is very good, adjustments are stable, and the sight is very precise. Make no mistake, this sight is "you get what you pay for" for casual shooting in a dry environment - you won't have any problems. But if you want a battle tested sight, go for the big brand. It's all in what you plan to use it for... March 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Great Quality Sight Purchased this sight to go with my M&P15 MOE, it has been amazingly accurate! The build quality of this device is pretty impressive, I cant compare it to any of the high dollar red dot sights out there since I have never owned or used one, but I can say that it is well built with its aluminum construction and shields the optic from damage nicely from ricocheting casings at the range. I have seen on some reviews complaints of not holding zero when switching between the different reticles, but my son and I had no problems with losing zero when we did change up. All in all this is a great sight my only complaint would be the shorter battery life (when at its brightest setting I think the optic is rated for 25hrs), but that would be it. Great sight if your looking for great quality and value for not a lot of cash. February 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great optic for less money I bought one of these two years ago and I'm glad I did. These will never be considered "MILSPEC" but for the price, what would you expect? They are great, low-cost options for those wanting a reliable, accurate red dot sight. Mine has withstood more than 500 rounds of 223 through my AR. It has never drifted nor given me any problems whatsoever. If you want the best, buy an Eotech. If you want a very good quality optic for much less, then get this. You won't be sorry. I recently got a KSG and I want to put a red dot optic on it but previous experience with a Barska optic on my Mossberg proved to be fatal for the sight, it just couldn't handle the recoil. I'm just curious if this sight could handle it or do I need to save a few hundred more $$$ and get an Eotech?

A:
I would keep looking if you're interested in a red dot for a shotgun. This might hold up to a 20 gauge, but probably not on a 12 gauge. Not for very long anyway. For something with that much recoil, Eotech or Aimpoint my be the way to go.
