i use 308 and just started useing 243 cal bullets my sun and i took 6 mississippi deer this year 1 went 10 yards 5 were high neck shots 1 was through the ribs the bullet did the trick we recovered the chest shot bullet 1/4 in of the jacket it was total devastation on the vitles shots veried 70 to 135 yards the hand load varget 36g sierra gameking hp 85g 1in moa

I've been using these bullets for years and I intend to keep on doing so for years to come..... I've tried the "new-comers" and they are okay (except for the prices) but I always end up going back to the Sierra Gamekings for exceptional accuracy and "drop dead" performances....

I load the 87gr. HPBT Gameking with 37gr. of H4895 for my .243. (Savage 10) They produce 1/2 MOA. I have harvested four whitetail deer with these this year. Distances ranging from 20yds - 250yds. None of the animals have made it more than 40yds after impact. I am new to reloading and was once sceptical of the .243 in genral. (Thought it was to small for deer.) I am now a believer! I took 7 deer last year with the same gun with same results shooting Fusion ammo. We shoot alot and it is cheaper to reload and more accuarte.
