Live in MD, fish the Chesapeake Bay, have caught, Rock, Croaker, Spot, WhitePerch even Catfish. If I was carrying a survival kit this Jig would be a must.

I use this lure for casting along the beach in Mexico (mainland Pacific coast). It casts really well on semi light tackle and it's durable. Caught many jacks, sierra and actually caught a small rooster once with it. Great value!

Ok guys to start off if you are planning on visiting florida or you already live here (like) myself you have to get this jig. Any fish in florida will go after it!! No joke I caught spanish macs, jack crevellys, barracuda, snook, inshore snapper pompano, even a baby tarpon I use the smallest size. It seems to work better than the other ones. You have to get this jig!

I was told that when fishing these, especially for cudas, to switch the treble hook with a circle hook because the cudas will swallow the whole thing. are the circle hooks as effective?

I found if you do switch, hook ups are not as often because the closed hook .But they are safe for the the fish when you hook up.
