good target for price
i bought this target last year and it is a good target. it is my second 3d target. have shot it alot. arrow removal is no harder than any other 3d target. i shoot carbon arrows and they are pretty hard to pull out of any target. i got some cheap rubber palmed gloves and arrow removal is way simpler no matter what i shoot. it has lasted all year last year with 5 guys shooting at it. waiting for this year to have at it again. to get the insert to last longer, shoot the whole insert not just the heart area. i only shoot the vital also. i try to shoot it like it is a real deer so i don't shoot the body of it cause i wouldn't shoot a deer in the head or body. it is a skinny target.

Arrow removal exhausting!
Was looking to buy a new target and depended on some of the good reviews here - went and bought this target. When I got it home, yes the set-up was very easy, but arrow removal was exhausting! I shot 4 arrows (field points) into the vitals and spent the next 15 minutes getting the arrows out. I ended up having to take the vitals insert out and standing on the insert to get enough leverage to pull the arrows out. I thought I was going to pass out from having to pull so hard. Took this target back and got a refund. This might be a good target for a youth bow (less penetration) but not a good target for an adult bow ...... Mathews Reezen 6.5 @ 71 lbs.

Good for kida
This was purchased for my 11 year old son who draws 35lbs at 23 inches and this target does what I hoped it would. It's affordable and sturdy enough to handle the impact of his arrows. I've shot it a few times with my maxxed out Switchback XT (60 lbs @ 28.5 inches) and the arrows buried very deep into the target. The target also seems kind of flimsy when my arrows hit. The rebar stakes only go into the targets legs about 6 inches and this target could probably benefit if they could allow the stakes to slide into the legs about 12 inches. Good, sound target for the price and will serve my son well, but I don't see this target holding up if I decided to shoot it on a regular basis.

Just purchased product as agift for the kids. Appears to be a great product for the money. Should last them for awhile.
