Shoestring's Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Whipper Snapper
America’s best-known lure designers, created the Whipper Snapper to deliver maximum flash, vibration, and rattlin’ action for deep-water jigging. Its heavy lead head with 3-D Lazer eyes, slim-profile tubular body, and wildly flickering tailspinner make this drop bait a pure terror for all ''schoolie'' fish. Oversized treble for quality hooksets. Body length: 2-1/4". Blade length: 1-1/8". Overall length: 3-3/8".

Rated 2 out of 5Â by BNZeigler Fair at best
Two complaints:
- used one time and the finish is starting to come off
-the treble hook constantly rotates and gets stuck on top of the bait
Caught two and missed several due to the hook issue

I am always looking for great lures that work well in saltwater to use in freshwater or visa-verse. This is just the case. This guys was a little larger than expected but its performance made up for that discrepancy. I use this guy in both fresh and salt water and it is productive to say the least. Its rattling spoon design catching the attention of fish whether fishing in the day or night.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by bassboy09 Great rig
Shoestring has done something right with this rig. This lure has a spinner on the tail, which is a great fish atractor. This lure has a nice swimming action which is great in rocky and covered areas.

Kastmaster 1/8 ou. in gold is fantastic for catching rainbows. I recently caught an 18-in. brown using BPS spoon in 1/8 ou. firetiger. It was a nice fish.1 of 1
