sweet reel. i have the a few 16s
great smooth drag. mine are spooled with 20lb mono and i have tackled numerous big florida sailfish, dolphin, kings up to 40lbs and a few wahoo. the perfect live bait reels. great for kite fishing and trolling. just the perfect all around reels.
and they are durable. i charter fish with them and not one glitch or problem.

I would recommend this to everyone that is fishing on the reef. I have caught Dolphin, Sailfish, Kings, Blackfin Tunas and wahoo with this reel. It is very durable and reliable as well and with the 5:1 gear ratio it is awesome to use on the Kite. This is a great choice.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by fisherman Good price for performance
This is a good reel. The bad thing is that it does not hold enough line. We hooked a 500+ pound jewfish and were almost spooled but then the line broke. Other than that, it is good torque for bottom fish. It also is great for trolling for smaller fish, such as 20-30 pound dolphin. All in all it is a good reel, maybe a backup if another reel breaks.

This reel is great for landing 25 LB plus fish.
Great for bottom fishing 100' to 200' range.
Good crank...especially matched with ocean master bottom fishing rods...smooth drag, and very economical considering performance. I have not tried the two speed. This real is good enough that I might not have to step up to a two speed reel.
