I cant believe the power rating on these rods compared to the thickness of them! They are light weight and super strong. I was bottom fishing in 100' deep water and i could literally feel any little nibble at my hand. I matched my Stella 10000SW to one of these rods and its the Excalibur of rod and reel combos! I plan to buy a conventional model to mate with my Talica 12II.
