This is the only spinning reel I use. I have 4 of them. Flipping the bail is quick and great to pitch docks.

I was extremely pleased to see Shimano bring out a new, moderately priced, quality reel with the Quick Fire system. I have been using this type of system for 30 years and find it so easy to use. It eliminates the need for a second hand to center the spool and release the bail and just leads to quicker casts. This reel is very smooth and works very well. Thank you Shimano!

I bought one of these in the 2500 on a whim almost a year ago and I'm glad I did. These are very nice reels for the $30 pricepoint, IMO the best. They're smooth, reasonably light, and the Quick Fire trigger works greats. I'll definitely be picking up another one. The drag could possibly be a little smoother feeling, but I really can't complain. I've pulled in dozens of largemouths with mine and it's still going strong. Spool it up with 6 or even 8lb mono and it's good to go. They even do well with braid as long as you stay under 20-25lb Power Pro.
