Rated 4 out of 5 by best 30 dollar reel on the market Great reel for the price. Its smooth, durable, casts great. Feels like a much more expensive reel. Great for someone just getting into fishing! March 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks and feels good I've only had it for a little bit but seems smooth and sturdy. It's a Shimano so it must be good. March 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke Used it on time and it locked up on me and the handle broke. Was upset and I had a fish on the line. I popped the line and tried to fix it but it was all jacked up inside plus my the handle was bent. Bad experience. Never again at least for now. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just great I got this reel one year ago and it has not disapointed. I was fishing a local bass pond with the smallest model. I was looking for small bass and blue gill with a road runner and a soft plastic. I landed a perfect cast under some branches and BAM! 7 lb bass. This reel was perfect. Smoooth drag and handled it like a champ. You may not believe me but i caught this fish on the shimano sienna 500. I have used it for bonefish as well. It ok in salt. You should clean and rinse after every use in salt. Spooled with braid but then switched to stren. It works better with mono. January 31, 2014
