Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprisingly awesome! My hopes weren't too high for this reel. However, with this reel, you are getting much more than you're paying for! If i would have known how well I was going to like it, I would have bought 2 just to have a backup. Although, I don't think I'll need a backup because it seems pretty durable. April 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great salt water reel these are very basic durable inexpensive reels that work great. I found my first one at the bottom of a river. to my amazement it worked just fine, after being underwater for who knows how long. I bought a 1000 and a 4000 to take with me when I go salt water fishing, they can handle it, and if the salt destroys them, it's much better than ruining a $100 reel March 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap at twice the price What more could anyone ask of a reel? Bought them for the grandkids and as spares , now they are the primary reel I use. They do the job asked of them and come back for more. Rear drag works and allows you to change drag settings during the fight when needed. Easy to maintain, and affordable so that I will buy more to have different weight lines for different fishing requirements. March 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value I have 3 4000 models and 1 2000 model and they have really impressed me. I catfish with the 4000 models mostly and use the 2000 for panfish but they are great. I will be buying more. March 4, 2014
