Nice rod, but very weak tips.. issues with 2 rods
I bought these rods initially based on previous reviews and looking at them at the local BassPro shop. The rods seemed good for my NP, SMB and Walleye fishing in northern Canada. I purchased 2 rods one for me and one for my Father. On my 3rd cast my braided line caught the tip and snapped the tip right off in mid-cast on a MH 7' rod. I was shocked. Figured, OK could be factory defect, it happens. My father was using his rod with Shimano Baitcaster (also new) and upon hooking about a 30" NP brought over side of boat and his tip too snapped about 4-5" from tip with very little pressure on rod tip (30" pike is only about 7 lbs). I liked the rods look/feel, but the tips are way too weak IMO. I personally like the Extreme BassPro rods better for little less $$$ too or Daiwa rods as they have basically a lifetime warranty on them.

A great worm and jig rod
I purchased the "jig and worm" version of this rod yesterday and used it today with excellent results.
The rod is 6' 10", which makes for a very light and accurate close proximity casting rod for bass fishing. I paired this rod with a Shimano Curado and found the balance unbelievable.
I could detect strikes easily, cast bullet weights from 1/8 to 3/16 with little effort, and the backbone was more than enough for longer distance hook sets.
The only critiques I have is that I prefer cork over the EVA foam handles. I am also not a huge fan of the color scheme, but the fish don't care, so why should I?
This is a great rod and I cannot speak of the other technique specific rods but I can say the amount of guides and the sensitive blanks for the entire series makes for a great purchase. The split grips lighten the overall weight of the rod and pair well with today's lighter baitcasters. Although I prefer Shimano reels I think this reel might pair perfectly with Quantum's EXO ultra lightweight reels.

Great rod! fun fight!
I am not a tournament fisherman, and it seems like all the manufacturers these days make only stiff rods... I found the worm and jig rod in Medium weight and fast action and it is a blast to catch bass on with senkos or other rubber worms... I love these rods I own 3 of them...
