Have you ever thought, "I wish they'd put a levelwind on these TLD's so I wouldn't have to level it myself!" The same quality that makes TLD's such great reels can be found in Shimano's Charter Special TR-2000LD Reel. Stainless steel gears are durable and resist corrosion in saltwater, and the Charter Special's 3 stainless steel A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearings) ensure many years of reliable service. Check out the best lever drag, levelwind reel on the market.

Line recovery in inches per handle turn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding reel You can spend a lot more for a reel in this class, but you won't get better performance or reliability than this very reasonably priced reel provides. Grouper and snapper are my usual victims with this reel, and I've recently begun jigging with butterfly jigs with this reel and it works great! September 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shimano reels Most reliable reels I have. Even first time users have good experiences with them. I love the lever dragon such a reasonably priced reel. March 2, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by was a great starter real i picked up one of these and its a pritty good real over all but for what i do it isnt the greatest i found out when chucking bait it dosent cast very good and the free spool isnt the greatest on it but over all i enjoy fishing with it June 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Levelwind Conventional Yet I have two 2000. I have the 2000 with 20lb mono and is very good for party boats and quick fishing outings with some friends. It is great for sailfish, grouper, mackerel, mahi, and awesome for fishing over reefs. My other 2000 has 30lb braid and will bring up the 50lb bluefin, midsized wahoo, kingfish, big mahi, and lots of grouper. The levelwind feature meake work alot easier for when you dont have to worry about line building up on one side of the reel. Highly recogmend it espcially for just $120 dollars. February 15, 2010
