As a Charter Captain I have several of these reels and they are almost bullet proof! Keep them lubed and they will serve you well.... They have boated everything from 90+ lb Cobia to 60lb Striped bass, they are well suited for saltwater conditions and myself and my clients have NEVER been disapointed in them! These are a must for peole looking for an excelent reel for eeling for stripers!

I have owned and used this reel for 15 years and it has and still does perform just great.
It has hauled in many large fish and the drag is very smooth.
Tarpon, kings, cobia, sharks, goliath grouper, barracuda and many other fish were caught on this reel.
