Rated 1 out of 5 by PCbayfisher Sorry eyes This rod has very inferior eyes for the line to feed. The ceramic incased in the metal often comes unglued. The surrounding metal is not strong enough December 21, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joe5225MLS27 First Rod This was the first rod that i bought. It is stronger than you could ever imagine. I have fallen off my bike with it and caught the handle in the spokes of the back wheel and all it did was rip up some of the foam handle. I caught a 30in.10lb sheephead with a 7ft Med. Light rod and it didnt break. They are extremely sensative and light. February 21, 2010

A:Yes but a 1 peice rod is better than a two piece. It will have more of an action(better preforming). I have a 7ftMed. Light and it casts any size lures just fine. Use lighter line it will cast light lures better.
Details:I'm looking for a 7' med action Ugly Stik that breaks down to 2, 3 or 4 pcs.
A:This is a one piece rod , very good for med to heavy salt water i use mine every trip.
