I've owned this pole for the last 10 years .And it has taken the abuse of Big New England saltwater fish. This is the best pole I have ever owned. I only fish with Ugly Stiks now and currently own 3 of them. Pound for pound they out fish any of my other poles. I will use Ugly Stiks till the day I die.
