I have the 5'6" tidwater and love it. I fish GAR with it down here in Texas. I have got my best Gar in with this rod and a 90 Penn on 130lb test. It was 9'8" and 193lb. THE TIME OF MY LIFE.

Purchased rod about 1 month ago, 2nd trip using it the rod broke reeling in a 30in amberjack.
The rod was med-heavy action rated for line up to 40lb, hardly put to the test by a 30in amberjack. 30 in is the min. requirement for aj's in the gulf. Needless to say...disappointed.
