Worth $0.149 NOT $14.99 I bought one of these over a year ago, to my displeasure. I took it out and caught a 6 lb. Catfish. The reel started missing the spool and the drag gave out. You could not reel the line in at all. How do I know I caught a six pound Catfish. My fishing buddie and I pulled the catfish in by the line. Don't get me wrong Shakespere puts out many great Reels I have several. This line just isn't one of them. January 1, 2009
Only OK The line kept getting tangling under the cover and then this weekend the cover fell off twice, the last time it went into the river. When it was working it did fine, but look for something better if you can. December 16, 2008
Great Reel for the price I fish small ponds and this reel's pick up is smooth and fast. I pinch the line as it is on the fly for short accurate cast. I am purchasing another reel as soon as I finish this review. November 10, 2008
