Rated 5 out of 5 by Synergy reel lands 5 pounder I used my gift card that I got as a Christmas gift and ordered a Shakespeare Synergy Tianium Ti10 spincast reel, along with a few other items. Well I was not disappointed with the smooth action and the casting ability of this reel. I landed several bass the first day, including one pushing 5 pounds! Rated 4 out of 5 by good reel i was looking for a reel to replace the new 33 zebco that i don't care for. the shakespear ti10 cast and retrives well, i use it for pan fish and have caught some catfish up to 2 lbs. i think it is a good choice for this type of fishing . June 23, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Thumb button again and again Everything about the reel is fine, but when the thumb button breaks and you cannot find a new one because no one wants to carry a part for such an inexpensive reel and if you did find one you would pay more for the part and shipping than a new synergy would cost. I have had this same problem with lower cost abumatics, pfluegers, and shakespears. Cheap little plastic pins break inside and the thumb button and reel is then useless. April 17, 2011
