this was exactly what i was looking for. wanted a compact rod and real for fishing in smaller streams and tight spots. the ease in witch i can make cast and the feelof the rod is perfect.

I purchased this for my grandson (5) and he was able to cast and retrieve easily. It fit him well and looked to be of qualilty. Caught a trout on the first cast so he was sold from the start. I would recommend to other buyers. Great price and great value.

I bought this combo for my 4 year old and he loves it. It is small enough for him to cast it by himself. This is a great "first rod/reel".

i bought this for my first rod and reel combo and it still works today with no problems. although i dont use it anymore because of my new daiwa procaster baitcast reel, id still recomend it for beginners.
