We baught this for my 3 year old. She loves it and loves going fishing. The reel is smooth for a child and we haven't hand any tagles yet.

"little girl" can not wait to go fishing with her Disney Princess kit. Best way to introduce a young girl to fishing. If she catches just one small fish, it will have been worth the price. And, even if she does not catch a fish, she still has her Disney Princess kit to try again.

This pole came in a very small package, at first I thought they forgot to ship it with my other items. Anyway, it turns out that it's telescopic. It's durable, yet flexible. I recommend this... And, for $18 you can't go wrong!
