love this rod i like the rod like the reel the cat fish bait not really i have caught lots of fish with this rod but never a catfish and thats when using the catfish chuncks May 21, 2012
Rod is great. Needs a better reel I like the rod but the reel needs a little more improvement. Goodt for starters. September 26, 2011
No Good I bought this for my son's birthday and he was thrilled. Thats the only reason I'm even giving it a 1. Other than that its a piece of garbage the reel is junky it will not reel in a panfish without the drag being completely tight. Worse of all after 4 fishing trips the rod broke on him, now what was 7 foot is closer to 6 1/2 foot. It's cheap plastic reel and rod. September 5, 2011
AWFUL!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! this is a junker rod and reel. the reel stinks and will break! the rod cant throw alot of weight either and is very flimsy!!! May 18, 2011
